Sonakshi-Kangna'hot photoshoot for CCL calendar

Hot sexy sirens Sonakshi Sinha, Kangna Ranaut, Charmee, Richa Gangopadhyay, and Sameera Reddy are busy posing for sizzling pictures that promise to capture their curves, against the backdrop of exotic Goan beaches and other tourist spots, for the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) calendar.

This picture-perfect calendar will be included in the promotional blitz to be unleashed by the CCL to generate a buzz for their second season to be held in Sharjah. With Sonakshi and Kangna being brand ambassadors for Mumbai Heroes; Charmee, Sameera and Richa will be ambassadors for the Telugu, Tamil and Kannada teams.

We have roped in actresses who are equally popular in the Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industries and no doubt, this calendar is going to be too hot to handle," says a source from the Telugu team.

Salman Khan has already announced that Mumbai Heroes would bounce back in Season 2, at the CCL launch in Dubai. It seems that tempers are heating prior to the tournament in Sharjah Cricket Stadium (January 13 to January 14), and viewers will now have to fasten up their seat belts for an exciting T-20 tourney that promises glitz and glam.

"I'll be there just for a day to pose for some pictures and the calendar is really going to sizzle with so many hot babes, I bet. After all, Venkatram, one of my favourite photographers is shooting it," says Charmee.

She adds that there is no possibility of rubbing shoulders with other actresses like Sonakshi and Kangna, since, "All the girls are shooting individually, so unfortunately, I won't get to interact with any of them."

Sonakshi is a proud desi Beauti

Dusky beauty Sonakshi Sinha recently shot for a magazine, in a whole new avatar. She had gotten all glamorous and westernized in the shoot. It was an attempt for her to shed the Indian look she is primarily identified with.

Her debut as the female lead in ‘Dabangg’ was again a village girl look and she could not break the mould with it, so this time on she experimented with her look.

"I think it is good to look different in every photo shoot or a film. I think all my filmmakers are making me wear saris so I think it`s good that in photo shoots I am seen in western outfits. As an actor, this change is also important. I try and mix it up," Sonakshi said at the unveiling of the magazine cover, as reported by media.

Sonakshi has not had any films release this year however next year she will be seen in ‘Rowdy Rathore’ and ‘Joker’. She is proud of her Indian looks but does not mind changing for a role in the film.

"I am very proud of my `desiness` and I would have to agree for now because those are the type of roles that I have been doing. Later on, there will be a lot of scope for change," Sonakshi chuckled.

Sonakshi has also been signed for the sequel of her debut film, ‘Dabangg 2’.

A call from Arbaaz Khan saw Sonakshi Sinha bidding a hasty adieu to Race 2. Apparently Sonakshi was all set to be a part of the film when Dabangg 2 came her way. Also, buzz is that Arbaaz Khan believes all those who opted out of the sequel actually were going to be a part of Abhinav Kashyap's next.

Abhinav, who directed Dabangg, later had a fallout with the Khan camp. Naturally, the actress had to make her choice quickly. Apparently Abbas-Mustan who are very close to Shatrughan and Punam Sinha called them up requesting for Sonakshi's dates for their film. Says a source, "Arbaaz is very clear on the issue of who he wants in Dabangg 2.

He apparently has reason to believes that those who are turning down the Dabangg sequel are actually planning to be part of Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap's next. So being a part of Dabangg 2 has become a show of loyalty for Salman and his brother."

When Arbaaz decided to shoot the sequel, March 2012 onwards, Sonakshi had no choice but to drop everything and make time for the film. It looks like she couldn't let down the people who gave her her first break?

Director Abbas of Abbas-Mustan confirms he got a call asking to relieve Sonakshi from Race 2. "We got a call saying Sonakshi would be required to shoot Dabangg 2 from March, 2012. We had no choice but to let her go."

Sonakshi might replace Deepika in 'Race 2'

Abbas-Mustan's Race 2 is in a quandary. Deepika Padukone, was reportedly asked by Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji to choose between their Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani and Race 2. She now wants to quit the Saif Ali Khan-John Abraham starrer.

Although producer Kumar Taurani tweeted that Deepika is still trying to work out her dates, since Ranbir Kapoor works only on one film at a time, Deepika may be required to do the same between the months of January and April 2012.

Insiders say that Dippy, who doesn't wish to disappoint Taurani, is trying to allot the Race 2 producers fresh dates, May 2012 onwards. This delay may cost the project dearly because many stars' call sheets are involved.
The latest according to Zoom TV is that Sonakshi Sinha, the other girl in Race 2 might replace Deepika opposite John Abraham in the project.

Pinkvilla was the first to tell you that Bipasha Basu might star in Race 2. Now that Deepika has opted out of Race 2 & Sonakshi is replacing her, Bipasha Basu might well reprise her role as Sonia in the sequel.

Also, John Abraham recently claimed that he has no problem working with his ex-girlfriend Bipasha Basu.

Sonakshi dumps Ranveer for Shahid?

Sonakshi Sinha declined a Yash Raj’s flick opposite close friend Ranveer Singh in lieu of Shahid Kapoor starrer Sajid Nadiadwala film. It seems that the actress wants to keep her personal and professional life separate.


Talking to a daily, a source said, “Sonakshi was offered a film opposite Ranveer Singh by YRF. It was supposed to be directed by Habib Faisal. However, Sonakshi has now decided to take on Sajid Nadiadwala`s project instead. She has already given all her dates in January to Sajid.”

Buzz has it that Sonakshi and Ranveer got closer during their on-stage performance at a recently held film awards ceremony.

“However, when it came down to her career, Sonakshi decided to opt for Shahid over Ranveer. She has given the same dates to Sajid that were required by YRF for the Ranveer starrer,” said the source.

Revealing about Sajid’s venture, the source added, “Sajid Nadiadwala has written the story and the screenplay of the film himself. ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ director Sabbir Khan will direct it. Earlier too, Sabbir was to direct ‘Heer Ranjha’ starring Shahid.”
