Anushka Sharma dating Suresh Raina ?

This is not the first time a Bollywood actor has been linked to a cricketer. Deepika Padukone, Geeta Basra, Kim Sharma have all been linked to cricketers in the past. The latest news doing the rounds is that Anushka Sharma is reportedly dating Indian cricketer Suresh Raina.

Here is an excerpt - Attacking batsman Suresh Raina and Band Baaja Baarat star Anushka Sharma first met in London a few months ago, when the Indian team was touring England. Since then, they have managed to find time for each other and like 'hanging out' together.

Neither of them have made any comments on this so far.

Anushka has high regards for katrina kaif

Yash Raj Films discovery Anushka Sharma has slammed the reports of her cat-fight over a make-up artist with actress Katrina Kaif stating it is all perturbing. The Bollywood actress says that she has high regards for her co-star and she will never enter into a fight with her for anything.

In an interview with PTI, Anushka Sharma said, "I will never enter the stage where I have to be in any kind of tussle with Katrina Kaif. I respect her a lot genuinely. For somebody to come from outside the world and make a mark is not easy. It is very difficult. It is very difficult to maintain your strength in the industry, despite being an outsider. I have lot of respect for her."

Meanwhile, the B-Town star assured to maintain good relationship with Katrina Kaif. Anushka Sharma added, "Having said all this...to fight over a make-up artist is silly. All this is perturbing. I am doing a film with her (Katrina). And I would like to maintain a good cordial and effective relation with all actors I work with."

When asked about the remarks made by producer Aditya Chopra over her looks, Anushka said she took them in her stride. The actress said, "Whatever he (Aditya) said is true. I don't think I am the best looking girl in the industry. I don't think I am like the perfect face or whatever. But I know what I am capable of and what my good things are."

However, Anushka said what the producers intended to say was not to merely rely on good looks. She added, "This is good advice he gave me. Katrina Kaif looks stunning...she is beautiful. She is just like a perfect face.

Even as the actress says that she is single, her relationship status has always been under scanner. Talking to a daily about her linkups and her equation with co-stars, Anushka said that she is not dating anyone and also refuted claims of being at loggerheads with Sonakshi Sinha.


Denying reports that she doesn’t get along with Sonakshi, Anushka said, “Untrue. We are fine with each other. Are we are supposed to be at loggerheads because of a guy (Ranveer Singh)? It is so immature to fight with another girl for any guy. As I said in Karan Johar’s chat show, she is free to have Ranveer because I am not dating him.”

Anushka revealed that she never dated Ranveer, “We never dated each other. We are very good friends. But we are two very different individuals. I am a restrained person. He is totally opposite. It’s not possible for us to date. Yes, we are very fond of each other. But at the same time, we can even beat each other up. We have a very volatile friendship.”

When told that in a recent interview Ranveer said that both of them have drifted apart, Anushka said, “Probably we weren’t shooting together in those days. So there might have been less communication.”

Is Anushka dating Shahid Kapoor? “Am I not supposed to be dating almost everybody currently? I am dating Shahid. I am dating Arjun Kapoor. I am also dating Ranbir Kapoor. Baba, I am single. I am 23, isn’t it natural for me to go out with my friends? Shahid, Arjun and Ranveer are my closest friends. I still don’t know Ranbir well enough,” she said.

Shahid and Anushka, after warming up to each other inside the house, went to the balcony and shared a very romantic lip-lock," revealed an eyewitness about the highlight of Imran Khan's Mere Brother Ki Dulhan success party.

In fact, the eyewitness told Mumbai Mirror that they were so caught up in the moment that they were oblivious to the rest of the guests, who were very uncomfortable to be around them.

The eyewitness added, "The duo were incontrollable and were on top of each other. It was only when another celebrity guest told them that the media were still downstairs and they could easily be spotted that they decided to come back inside."

With Bipasha reportedly out of Shahid's radar and Ranveer out of Anushka's, the industry has been abuzz with speculation over what's brewing between the Badmaash Company co-stars.

The eyewitness also recounted, "Shahid and Anushka walked hand-in-hand at the party and were seen interacting with other guests. They also went to congratulate Imran together."

In the past too, the two made headlines for their rumoured off-screen romance following their on-screen chemistry in Parmeet Sethi's project, in 2010. And now, reportedly, Shahid and Anushka are gearing up to romance each other on-screen again for Maneesh Sharma's untitled project (Mumbai Mirror, October 12, 2011)

While Shahid and Anushka remained unavailable for comment, the actress' manager replied via text message, "These claims from your eyewitness about Anushka are defamatory and untrue."

Anushka Sharma has no time for home

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actress Anushka Sharma can’t stop gushing about the three-bedroom apartment at Andheri’s Yari Road that she bought recently. While she bought it about a month ago and even moved there, she couldn’t spend too much time at home, because of her having to travel to the US for 40 days for her shooting.

Anushka, who shifted to Mumbai from Bangalore about two years ago, had been living at the army colony in Malad. She had been looking for a house for quite a while and finally settled on this one. This being the first ever house she has bought, she’s naturally very excited about it.

She feels great about being able to buy a house at the age of 21. But she hardly gets to be home and hasn’t had the time to enjoy it yet as she had to go to Bangkok for a month, just a little after her US tour, and is still there.

It’s not that I haven’t been in a relationship (since my break-up with Bebo) and I know how to woo a girl if I want to.
