Shahrukh Khan may have got his share of flak for his ambitious home production Ra.One, but the superstar hasn’t lost any fan following, at least in the virtual world. In the latest online poll by ApunKaChoice, Shahrukh has been voted the Best Actor of 2011.
The year 2011 saw a number of good acting performances but none really stood out as much as to leave us bowled over. Still, Ranbir Kapoor did impress with his seething portrayal of a Rockstar. Likewise, Salman Khan was the dynamo of the blockbuster Bodyguard. Hrithik Roshan came up with a restrained, and well nuanced performance in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Shahid Kapoor too turned a better actor when directed by his dad Pankaj Kapur in Mausam. And then there was Ajay Devgan, all fire and fury in the action blockbuster Singham.
In our latest poll we asked our readers to pick their favourite among the above actors. The voting turned into a sparring contest between the fans of Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan. We got a whopping 7973 votes out of which 49 percent voted Shahrukh Khan as the best actor for Ra.One.
The poll result is likely to raise a few eyebrows because the critics really weren’t much impressed by SRK’s performance in Ra.One.
