Veena Malik, who has been in the news over allegedly posing nude for FHM magazine cover, has said that she has learnt from her ‘mistakes’ and wants to move on.
The Pakistani actress, who is in Dubai to ring in 2012 with her friend and Bigg Boss housemate Ashmit Patel, said that she is
taking a ‘much needed and much deserved’ break.
The actor has been in the center of a controversy over the past few weeks after the ostensibly nude photos of her appeared on the cover of the Indian FHM magazine.
She has all along denied that she was entirely nude and has said that the magazine morphed her photos.
“Yes, of course, both the images were morphed. My upper portion was covered with tattoos. I think if I could rewind this time, I would like to delete. I feel cheated,” Gulf news quoted her as saying.
“But we all make mistakes, I have made a mistake, learned from it and want to move on,” she said.
After the nude photos, she received much backlash and criticism from her home country, and was even reported to have got death threats. Malik described the whole experience as ‘tragic’.
“It has been tragic and traumatic, really sad. It has been very difficult,” she said.
