Hate her or like her, but you can’t ignore her. The Pakistani actress Veena Malik is going to be the new bride on TV. She has started the shoot for the promos of Swayamvar Season 4 and is reportedly paid a hefty amount for doing the show.
But the one who does not like it at all is the lady who started it. Rakhi Sawant, while talking to a daily, vehemently opposes Veena’s selection as the TV’s new bride.
“I protest against the choice of celebrity! Arre Indian celebrities ko lena chahiye tha! I don’t think Indian parents will accept Veena Malik as their bahu. After all, she’s a Pakistani national!” Rakhi is quoted as saying. Reality star and item girl even claims that MNS and Shiv Sena will take an action against it.
Ever since her debut on Indian television with Bigg Boss Season 4, Veena Malik continues to be in the news for her alleged relationship with actor Ashmit Patel. She is even doing a Bollywood film with Shakti Kapoor and is gearing for her grand Swayamvar on TV. Veena recently shot for the promos of the show in Agra.
It’s learnt that the actress is getting Rs 3 crore for her appearance on the reality show and is reportedly offered an extra Rs 1.5 crore if she agrees to tie the knot on TV.
