Curator and preservationist David Wills’ new book, Marilyn Monroe: Metamorphosis gives a rare window into the public life of Hollywood icon Marliyn Monroe. The book is a collection of photos chronicling Monroe’s life from 1942 to 1962, reports Huffington Post.
While most books have raised the lid on the private life of the Hollywood icon, this book brings back the glamorous public person of the 60s diva.
The book which has 262 pages also includes quotes by friends, fans and colleagues reflecting on Monroe’s life and career. Some of the highlights of the book as given on the back cover of the book are:
