Katrina the most bankable actress?

Kareena was literally over the moon when films with the industry’s top three Khans came her way. Without giving it a second thought she lapped up all the films, and now Katrina Kaif is going Kareena’s way.

It’s no news that Katrina Kaif is going to be the new hot face of Dhoom series as she is in Dhoom 3 which stars Aamir Khan. Kat is also working with Salman Khan in Ek Tha Tiger which is also a Yashraj production, and now a film with Shahrukh Khan, under the same banner, which will go on floors in Januray 2012.

Three big films, three Khans and Bollywood’s most renowned production house - Katrina has her hands full. This has also lead to stories of Katrina Kaif replacing Rani Mukherjee as Aditya Chopra’s favourite.

Is Katrina indeed the most bankable actress for Yashraj? Till now, she has done two films with the banner - New York and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan - both did fairly well at box office. However, a spokesperson for the production house claims that Katrina has emerged as the director’s choice. “The decision to have Katrina in three films was made on the basis of only one parameter - the script - followed by the director’s vision. Katrina was always the director’s first choice for two of those three films,” says YRF spokesperson.

Actress or a non-actress! The coming year seems to belong to Katrina. What say, guys!
