Kareena kapoor-Imran film in trouble over 'sex'

Censor Board might not have problem with Bhaag DK Bose, but it certainly hasn't come to terms with the word 'sex'.

The board has asked producer Karan Johar to remove the word from Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu trailer in order to procure a U-certificate, reports Mumbai Mirror. Written and directed

by debutant Shakun Batra, the film, stars Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

“The film has a scene where a person asks Kareena and Imran if they’ve had sex. To this, Kareena replies ‘Yes’ and Imran says ‘No’. The objection was ridiculous. Trailers of many other recent films with objectionable dialogues and scenes have been given the nod,” a source told the tabloid.

Though producer Karan Johar and debutante director Shakun Batra were taken aback by censor's stand, they decided to think of an alternative. “KJo and Shakun have taken it in their stride. They are now reworking on the new version. If this same decision was passed earlier, Karan and Shakun might have decided to ‘beep’ out the word. However, since beeps are not allowed any longer, they will have to rework a lot of things to get the flow right,” the source was quoted by the tabloid.

Karan Johar confirmed they are indeed thinking of tweaking the trailer, but not now. “For now, I am attaching the current trailer of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu to The Dirty Picture, which has been given an A certificate," Johar told the tabloid.

Karan Johar hopes the board approves the new version. He told the daily, "As a law-abiding filmmaker, I would rather do what I have been told. I am sure that they would be cooperative when we submit the new version.”

Originally slated to released on October 7, 2011, the film will now release on February 10, 2012.
