The censor board of Pakistan has recently banned Milan Luthria's The Dirty Picture to be screened in their country . the reason behind this is not clear yet .
As we all know that Pakistan is very traditional in its approach to cinema so this ban isn’t a shock really. Tanuj Garg, CEO, Balaji Motion Pictures says he has heard about the ban.
A Bollywood source says, Earlier Aamir Khan's Delhi Belly was banned because of what was termed as lewd content; now the axe has fallen on The Dirty Picture that is considered not suitable for playing in cinema halls across Pakistan.''
biggest consumers of Hindi cinema.Pirated DVDs are reportedly available, sometimes even a day before the release Friday. So even if Dirty Picture doesn't play in theatres, it is quite likely that the film may still be widely seen.''
As film is very ‘Dirty’ based on the 80’s item girl Silk Smith and vidya has done justice to the role very well . the film revolves around the life , behaviour, and way she handled her life. Ekta have lots of expections from this film which is releasing on 2nddec.
The film will not be release in Pakistan but does will it affect the revenue ?let us see
