Ranbir celebrates Nargis Fakhri’s birthday 20,000 feet above ground

Not many know that yesterday was Nargis Fakhri’s birthday. The starlet, who is set to make her debut with Imtiaz Ali’s ambitious project Rockstar, celebrated her birthday mid-air, courtesy her affable, supercool co-star Ranbir Kapoor.

The Kapoor lad surprised Nargis with small yet special birthday cake of her choice delivered to her mid-air while the duo were on their way to Nagpur. Ranbir, who was earlier rumoured to be dating Nargis, reportedly made a hush-hush plan to celebrate the occasion 20,000 feet up in the air. Along with the cake he even ordered some goodies.

And guess who all were there to sing birthday song for the girl? Singer Mohit Chauhan led the choir which included, of course, Ranbir Kapoor, and the producer of the film Hiren Gandhi.

Nargis declared her birthday earlier on the twitter and wrote, “ITS MY BIRTHDAY! Thanks Mom&Dad(RIP)wish my dad cud c me, n how far i've come n all da things i have achieved. Thank u all the BDAY WISHes.”

Nargis hails from the USA and was missing her family on the special day. She said she felt overwhelmed cutting the cake, and even tweeted the experience: “im so overwhelmed im actually crying right now. thank you guys. i wud take a pic but i dont want it in the paper tomorrow LOL.”
