Right now, Kareena Kapoor has her kitty full but filmmakers are wary of signing the actress in 2012 as rumours are rife that Bebo will tie the knot with Saif Ali Khan.
Apparently, Kareena is not impressed by this weird logic of directors and producers and with Saif Ali Khan recently losing his father, Tiger Pataudi, the actress is in no mood to talk about her wedding. However, the ‘Chammak Challo’ sizzler made it loud and clear that she will continue to act even after marriage.
Talking to a daily, she said, “I will act till I live. For me acting is like air, food and water an essential ingredient. I want to go the Meryl Streep way from next year. I`d like to some heavy duty performance oriented films.”
Kareena, who will soon be seen in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’, wants to do films like ‘The Devil Wears Prada’, ‘Bridges of Madison County’ and ‘Mama Mia.’
“I’m a Meryl Streep fan and I think age or marital status can never be a deterrent for an actor. The only thing that one needs is passion. Like I said, acting is like the air I breathe. It’s that essential,” quipped the actress before signing off.
