Looks familiar? Well, it’s not a still from Milan Luthria’s The Dirty Picture. Vidya Balan was just too inspired by her on-screen character that she decided to pull a Silk Smitha move yesterday afternoon at Gaiety Galaxy, in Bandra.
The actress reportedly wanted to gauge the audiences’ reaction to her latest film first-hand and so, she decided to don a burkha, while she sat in the upper stall of the theatre to watch the film.
However, Vidya blew her own cover, when she decided to unveil her face during the intermission of the film to talk to her father, as most of the audience had left to buy refreshments. When one of the moviegoers was returning to his seat, he spotted the actress and screamed, “Vidya Balan!”. The actress had no other choice but to give the latter half of the film amiss in order to preempt the chaos of audiences gathering around her.
The new bffs in town
Believe it or not, this is the very first time that Sameera Reddy and Preity Zinta have ever crossed paths. And they couldn’t appear happier to have met one another.
The two ladies were officially introduced to each other at an event in Delhi. An eyewitness at the event told us that Sameera and Preity were inseparable and giggled like two teenage girls.
