The Sikh brigade is ruling the B-town from quite some time. Every other actor wants to portray the role of a Sardar or either wants to talk in pride of the turban clad man or feel honoured to play a Sardar on the big screen. From Akshay Kumar to Ranbir Kapoor to Saif Ali Khan to the latest entrant in Bollywood, Gulzar Chahal, all have delightfully played a Sikh character.
Now it seems Bollywood baadshah, Shahrukh Khan too is smitten by the bug of playing a Sardar. We will see the superstar playing a Sikh Soldier named Papaji, however not for any film as you must have thought so. But for one of his forthcoming commercials.
The talented actor brilliantly carries off the attire, mannerisms, posture and body language and leaves us impressed with his Sardar act.
A little birdie tells us that apparently at the shoot for an Ad Campaign, the RA.ONE star rehearsed his lines standing in front of the mirror, trying out with different angles. It was quite entertaining to see SRK make amusing gestures to capture this Papaji Sikh character that he is playing for the first time.
It will be a striking contrast to see Shahrukh traversing from a hi-tech Robot to a Fauji Sardar now!
