She is at it again! Rakhi Sawant caught in an attacking mood! While talking to a daily, Rakhi speaks from her heart and shares why her career in Bollywood is heading nowhere.
It’s been nearly five years since Rakhi Sawant hogged the limelight with her much-discussed and publicized public kiss with singer Mika at his birthday bash. And since then she has evolved as the TV’s ultimate drama queen and has done everything from hosting a chat show to selecting a groom on TV without eventually marrying him.
Now, she is no more a foe to Mika and has let bygones be bygones at a Diwali party. But ask her about her Bollywood career and she becomes upset. Does Bollywood have nothing to offer to this dancing queen?
“I am very sad to say that so far I have been receiving offers for rape scenes only. And I don’t want to do films in which I have to show my body. I had abandoned the film industry for some time, to concentrate on my TV career,” tells Rakhi to the daily.
She is also up against the Censor board, and believes she is a soft target. Her latest item song Jawaani Ki Bank Loot Le, from the movie Loot, is also said to be an objectionable track because of the bold words. But Rakhi is resolute and has an unshakeable faith.She knows she is young, talented and has a long way to go.
The item girl dreams big, and hopes to share screen space with the south superstar Rajinikanth.
