While Kim-Kris wedding is being viewed as a cynical money-making ploy and spoofs on the divorce have become viral on web, Kim Kardashian has revealed that she married because she was desperate to have kids.
Kardashian, 31, who recently filed for divorce with her husband Kris Humphries just
after 72 days, admitted that the main reason she rushed into tying the knot was because she wanted to start a family.
“I want a family, babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed into something too soon,” the Sun quoted the reality TV star as saying.
Although their wedding earned the couple 11 million pounds from magazine deals, TV coverage and endorsements, Kardashian insisted that she would never marry someone for money, and claimed she was just a “hopeless romantic.”
Kris Humphries' reaction to split
Basketball player Kris Humphries is devastated after hearing that wife Kim Kardashian wants to divorce him. Kris had said on October 31 that he was committed to the marriage: "I'm committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents. I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to work."

Kim Kardashian recently went to talk to her estranged husband and apologised to his family. However, sources insist that this is not a reconciliation. Kardashian is reportedly hurt by Kris’ statement that he didn’t know about the divorce filing. “He knew it was coming; they both knew things weren’t working . . . but some part of Kim also misses Kris, and still wants him to be a part of her life,” a source told Tmz.com.
